In honour of Miss Eunice Pead. of Mt. Lawley, whose marriage to Mr. Alfred Ellett will take place in St. Alban's Church, on Saturday, December 9, Miss Rosa McKay invited friends to an afternoon tea party at the Hotel Adelphi this afternoon. The guest of honour was presented with a set of canisters. The bridesmaid, Miss Ma Long muir, has also given a party a kitchen tea at her home in Mt. Lawley.

THE wedding took place at St. Alban's Church, Highgate, yesterday afternoon, of Miss Eunice Pead, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold E. Pead, of Chertsey-street, Mt. Lawley, to Mr. Alfred Ellett, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. T. Ellett, of Maylands. The Rev. C. W. Ker officiated, and the bride was given away by her father. A frock of needlerun georgette in French beige, with uplift bodice lines, V-neck, three-quarter sleeves, and gored skirt, was worn by the bride, and allied with a halo turban, with wide bow, worn well back on the hair. A matching veil was worn, and she carried a posy of gardenias. Her bridesmaid. Miss Ida Longmuir, wore a jumper suit of fuchsia sheer crepe with prune hat and accessories, and wore a spray of cyclamen blossoms. The floral work was from the Flowershop of Dawson and Harrison. Mr. Reg Ellett was best man. An afternoon tea reception was held at the Raffles, Mrs. Pead receiving, and wearing tartan sheer in cyclamen tones, black bangkok straw and wearing a posy of cyclamen flowers. Mrs. Ellett chose navy georgette with white embroidery, matching accessories, and spray of gold roses.
