Mr. and Mrs. W. Minkwitz and sons arrived in Lameroo just recently. Mr. Minkwitz has commenced duty as postmaster.

MR. MINKWITZ PASSES
Mr. W. Minkwitz, Lameroo postmaster, passed away on Tuesday at the Lameroo Hospital. The late Mr. Minkwitz has suffered ill-health since his arrival in Lameroo a few months ago.

Mr. H. Rhodes has settled down comfortably to his new responsibilities in the tool room of an engineering works near the city. Mrs Rhodes is at present in Quorn, but expects to leave shortly for their new home in Adelaide. Great sympathy is felt for the couple, whose daughter was recently bereaved of her husband, the late Mr. Minkwitz postmaster at Lameroo,

Wedding:
Minkwitz-Rhodes In St. Matthew's Church, Quorn, on the evening of Tuesday, June 19, Walter, younger son of Mr. and Mrs. R. Minkwitz, of Clarence Park, and Annie, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Rhodes, of Quorn, were married by the Rev. A. J. K. Baker, of Peterborough. The church was decorated by friends ol the bride. Mr. Geoff. Glover played the organ. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, wore an ivory pebble crepe satin gown and her long veil was worn cap fashion, being kept in place with small sprays of orange blossom. She carried a sheaf of white and palest pink rosebuds, to which were attached long streamers of small flowers. Miss Aileen Brown was bridesmaid, and was gowned in pink pebble crepe satin with silver hat and flowers. Mr. Fred Minkwitz was groomsman. During the service the congregation sang "A Voice That Breathed O'er Eden." An informal reception was held at the home of the brides parents, where Mr. end Mrs. Rhodes received friends and relatives. The bride's mother wore a gown of navy crepe marocain and carried a posy of Lorraine Lee roses and fern. The bride and bridegroom left by motor via Adelaide for their honey moon. Their future home will be at Largs tBay.
