DEATH OF MRS M. HURLEY
Mrs. Marion Hurley died at her residence, 57 Morgan-street, West Broken Hill, yesterday at the age of 62 years. She leaves a husband and a grown up family of nine sons and one daughter. The sons are Messrs. George, Charlie, William, Harrold, Albert, and Jack (who arrived from Adelaide, yesterday), and Ern, Don, and Robert (of Broken Hill). Mrs. E. L. James, of South Australia, is the daughter. The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon, leaving her late residence at 2 o'clock. The interment will be made in tho Church of England Cemetery. Fred J. Potter and Son have charge of the funeral arrangements.

The funeral of the late Mrs. Marion Hurley took place yesterday afternoon leaving her residence. 57 Morgan-street off Kaolin-street, West Broken Hill, at 2 p.m. The interment was made in the Church of England Cemetery, the Rev. V. E. Twigg officiating. The bearers were: Messrs. George, Charlie, Harold, Bert, Bob and Jack Hurley (sons). Numerous floral tributes were received including dome wreaths from the Thomas-street taxi drivers and Mrs. E Friend. There was a very large representative gathering at the funeral. Mr. E. P. O'Neill, secretary of the Municipal Employees' Union, at which Mr. George Hurley (husband of the deceased) was a member, represented that body. The Checkers' Tennis Club, of which Mr. Ern Hurley (a son of deceased) was a member, was represented by Mr. C. Killeen, and the Weowna Tennis Club, of which Mr. Don Hurley (another son), is a member, by Mr. H. Dewhirst. The Central Football Club was represented by Messrs. G Smith and W F Wattison, and the G.U.O.O.F, Lodge by the secretary. Mr. E. G. Bristow. Messrs. George, Charlie, Harold, Bert and Jack Hurley left by motor car for their homes in Adelaide at 5 a.m. this morning. Mrs, E.L, James (a daughter) will remain in Broken Hill for a few weeks. Fred J. Potter and Son carrried out the funeral arrangements.
