Charles Edward Fabian, 69, old age pensioner, of Port Lincoln, narrowly escaped being burnt to death on Thursday night, when the wood and iron shack in which he lives at Boston street. Kirton Point, was totally destroyed by fire. Fabian was discovered by Dr. C. T. Piper and Messrs. C. L. Thomas and T. P. Gibson, Just outside the shack, which was blazing fiercely. He was badly burnt, and was taken to the Port Lincoln Hosoital and admitted.

Death From Burns.-Charles Edward Fabian, 73, of Port Lincoln, died on Sunday, as the result of burns and injuries received when his home in Boston street, Port Lincoln, was burned down a few weeks ago. Fabian was discovered outside the shack in a badly burned condition.

PENSIONER DIES.
From Injuries Sustained in Fire. Mr. Charles Edward Fabian, aged 73 years, died yesterday as a result of burns and injuries received when his home in Boston Street, Was burnt down a few weeks ago. He leaves four sons and four daughters. The funeral took place this afternoon, and he was buried in the Catholic Cemetery, Port Lincoln. He had been known throughout the coast as one of the ablest blade shearers until the last year or so. At one time he had a greengrocers business in Port Lincoln and later a business in Streaky bay.

DEATH OF MR. CHARLES FABIAN. SERIOUSLY INJURED IN FIRE.
Mr. Charles Edward Fabian, 73, died in the Port Lincoln Hospital on Sunday last as a result of burns and injuries sustained when his home in Boston Street, Port Lincoln was burnt down some weeks ago. He leaves four sons and four daughters, one of whom is Mrs. J. Hodgson of Colley. The funeral took place on Monday afternoon, and the remains were interred in the Catholic Cemetery, Port Lincoln. Mr. Fabian was an old resident of these districts and is well remembered by all old identities.
