Mr. G. Sporn
Mr. Gottlieb Sporn, 89, of Yanyarrie, who died at Orroroo recently, was born at Light's Pass. He married Miss Caroline Koenig, of Tanunda. In his younger days he did blacksmithing for his father, and at the age of 29 took up land in the hundred of Yanyarrie, where he lived until his death. A widow, five sons, and four daughters survive. They are: Messrs. Richard (Nhill), Fredrich (Ouyen), Bernhard (Carina), William (Mulcra), Ernest (Beetaloo Valley), and Mesdames Barker (Queensland), Morgan (Yongala), Nelson (Largs Bay), and McDonald (Yanyarrie).

Frederick married Johanna Caroline KOENIG [16847] [MRIN: 6209] on 8 Sep 1874 in Wesleyan Church, Kapunda, South Australia. (Johanna Caroline KOENIG [16847] was born circa 1856, died on 2 Jul 1943 in Hd of Yanyarrie, South Australia and was buried on 2 Jul 1943 in Carrieton Cemetery, South Australia.)
