Baker-Hennessy
THE marriage of Miss Thelma Hennessy and Mr. Eric Norton Baker, of Hyde Park, will be solemnised at St. Augustine's Church, Unley, tonight by the Rev. Frank Weston. She is the only daughter of Mrs. I. Kernot, of Avenue street, Millswood, and will be given away by her stepfather, Mr. Kernot, A slim-fitting gown of magnolia satin will be worn by the bride. It has a long train, and the bodice, with its Quaker collar and long pointed sleeves, is embossed and beaded. A cluster of real orange blossom fastens the veil of silk net. She will carry a posy of real orange blossom. The bridesmaids, Misses Beryl Goldsmith and Agnes Matson, will wear Quaker dresses in palest blue organdie, and will carry posies of delphiniums and pink carnations to match the clusters worn as headdresses. Mr. F. Baker will be bestman and the groomsman will be Mr R. Hennessy.
