MARRIED AT KENT TOWN
Stodart - Matthews
THE marriage of Alan E., only son of Mr, and Mrs. L.A. Stodart, to Grace E., youngest daughter of the late Mrs. Matthews and Mr. H.W. Matthews, was celebrated* at the Kent Town Methodist Church on Wednesday, April 16, by the Rev. W.A. Dunn.

The church was prettily decorated by Mrs. F.W. Trowse and friends. The bride was dressed in white georgette with silver lace over pink underdress, the skirt falling in graceful folds at each side. Her veil of silk tulle, which was lent by Mrs. Trowse (sister-in-law of the bride) was arranged in cap fashion, kept in place with a coronet of orange-blossom. She carried a shower bouquet in white, with touches of pink, from which fell streamers of silver ribbon and rosebuds.

The bridesmaid, Miss Jean Smith, was frocked in pink georgette with large tulle bow at hip, and flared skirt. Her bouquet was of pink flowers harmonising with hec frock. Little Molly Silk (niece of bride) was a dainty little figure in delphinium blue georgette trimmed with forget-me-nots and lace, with pale pink tulle headdress and flowers in basket to tone. The bridegroom was assisted by Mr. G. Sabine as best man. During the signing of the register Miss Muriel Lovell sang Because.
