JUVENILE OFFENDERS' COURT.
[Before Messrs. J. W. Channon and A. Formby.]
Elizabeth Annie Pearson, aged 14 years, appeared to show cause why she should not be dealt with as an uncontrollable child. The girl's father, John Alexander Pearson, said he was a seafaring man, and at home only twice a week. Directly he left his daughter refused to remain in the home, and was away at night. The mother told the Court she was unable to control the girl. Both parents expressed their willingness to give the child a further opportunity to submit to discipline, and on her undertaking to be of good behaviour in the future, the information was withdrawn.
