CUTHBERT'S Kershaw-Abrahams Wedding A pretty wedding was celebrated at St. Cuthbert's Church, Prospect, on Easter Saturday by the Rev. H. C. Thrush between Olive N., youngest daughter of Mr. R. H. Abrahams, of Marian place, Prospect, and Mr. Harry T. Kershaw. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a lovely frock of ivory georgette with long sleeves. The skirt was georgette to the knees, and continued to the ankles with layers of tulle. Touches of orange blossom finished the waist and shoulder. Her train was tulle, with frills and orange blossom. She wore a silk net veil embroidered with lilies of the valley and a scalloped edge, and arranged with a spray of orange blossom. Misses Jean and Winifred Abrahams (sisters of the bride) were bridesmaids, and Misses Dorothy Griggs and Joy Kershaw (sister of the bridegroom) flower girls. The dresses were all alike in pale delphinium blue georgette, with a darker shade scalloped found the skirt, and touched with apricot-coloured flowers. The hats were apricot crinolin, edged with tulle and ribbon velvet streamers, and a spray of blue flowers on the brim. The bridesmaid carried bouquets of apricot dahlias and fern, and the flower girls gold baskets with apricot roses and tulle. Mr. B. Chartres was best man, and Mr. A. Buckerfield groomsman. As the bride left the church little Jean Behrndt hung a horseshoe on her arm. After the ceremony Mr. R. H. Abrahams held a reception at Arcadia. The travelling frock of the bride was plum-colour wool crepe de chine, with hand wool work on the bodice, a hat to tone, and she wore a gold bangle (the gift of the bride groom). The honeymoon was spent at Mt. Gambier and Narracoorte. During the reception Miss Briar Russell gave several elocutionary items, and Miss Evelyn Carew played a violin solo.
