Another old resident of Tantanoola has passed away in the person of Mr. John Kennedy, who died at his home on Friday night, at the age of 49 years. Mr. Kennedy settled in this district when quite a young man, and was highly respected for his straight forward and industrious oharacter. He leaves a widow, and a large young family, and great sympathy is felt for them. The funeral, which started from his late residence on Sanday, was very largely attended. The Rev. Father Oorboy officiated at the grave.
