MARRIED
Several interstate guests came for the wedding of Miss Jose Winters Crossing to Mr. Alan Lindsay White in St. Matthew's Church, Marryatville.- Her parents. Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Crossing, of Spring Creek station, Coonabarabran, NSW, are staying with Mrs. R. G. Knox at Kingswood. She lent the bride an old lace veil to wear with her chalk white satin gown. Bridesmaids Misses Margaret Knox and Avril Martin (whose parents, Mr. and Mrs. Furness Martin, came from Albemarle station, via Broken Hill) wore white organza frocks and feathery caps. They carried red roses. The bride left for her honeymoon in Melbourne wearing navy nylon with a bamboo-beige Dutch bonnet. Her new home will be at Port Hedland, WA, where her husband has a property. He is the son of Mrs. M. R. White, of Aldgate, and the late Mr. Cornelius White.
