FOUND DEAD
Ernest Henry Smart, 61, of Dawson, farmer, was found dead in a shed on his property at Dawson yesterday morning, with extensive injuries to his head and a shot gun lying alongside his body. Sgt. Durman and Const. Fairweather, of Peterborough, investigated and submitted a report to the Coroner, who deemed an inquest unnecessary. The deceased had suffered ill health for several years.
