At Penrith Methodist Parsonage on 23rd November, the Rev. A. E. Putland officiated at the marriage of Miss Sylvia Hamblin to Mr Edgar Lance Marshall, of Penrith. The bride, who was given away by Mr L. McDougall, wore an ice blue flat crepe ensemble, trimmed with pleating, and she carried November lillies. Mrs L. McDougall, who attended the bride as matron of honor, wore nigger crepe gloria, and her bouquet was of autumn tonings. Mr L. Marshall was best man.
The reception was held at the residence of Mr and Mrs F. Andrews, of Derby Street, Penrith. On leaving, the bride wore a tobacco brown ensemble. The honeymoon was spent in Sydney. Mr and Mrs Marshall will make their future, home at Robertson. The happy couple received many beautiful and valuable presents, including a cheque.
