Border Watch Saturday 29 Jan 1936 Demonstration of Students' Work FINE ART DISPLAY The display of work by students, which was opened on Thursday, was in itself a striking demonstration of importance, of technical, education, and reflected great credit upon both the instructors and those who have studied under them. In the art section, under the direction, of Mr. E. Newsham, there was a particularly comprehensive and commendable show of work which was well worth a visit. The various exhibits showed a lot of industry, skill, and promise, and in a number of cases an undoubted artistic bent. . . . Very nice work was also shown by Ray Crouch in the same section, and other exhibits were, by Grade 1 students - Peter Jaunay and Margaret Perriam.
