Marriage Notice:
RASTON, THOMAS RYDER, to LILY DIXON, at Kellerberrin, on March 30.

Sunday Times (Perth) Sunday 31 March 1940
Kellerberrin Wedding:
Powder blue taffeta, designed with heart-shaped necklines with diamante star trimming, full skirts and puffed sleeves, worn with miniature blue veils caught with silver halos, were chosen by Elisabeth and Ann Dixon when they attended Lily, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Dixon, of Kellerberrin, at her wedding at the Methodist Church yesterday to Thomas Noel (of Tammin), youngest son of Mrs. Raston, of Claremont. The Rev. Hicks officiated, and the bride was given away by her father.
The bridal frock was of white satin and lace, cut on classical lines with uplift bodice and full skirt extended to form a train. A plaited girdle was worn, and her tulle veil, hand appliqued, and with fine lace edging, was worn over the face on entering the church. She carried a sheaf of white roses, heath and
tuberoses.
The bridesmaids carried bouquets of pink roses and were accompanied by Shirley Morgan as flower-girl, wearing white satin, trimmed with pink, and carrying a basket of flowers. All the frocking and fresh floral work was by Derry's. Messrs. Arthur Hocking and Arthur Brooks attended the bridegroom.
A reception was afterwards held at the home of the bride's parents, Mrs. Dixon receiving and wearing navy blue with matching accessories. For her travelling frock the bride chose burgundy and gold, with black accessories.
