IN MEMORIAM
WALTON.-In sad but loving memory of my dear husband, George Thomas, who peacefully passed away on the 14th October 1930. With tears I watched you sinking, I watched you fade away; I tended you with loving care. But could not make you stay. I watched beside your bedside as the lonely hours passed. And how my heart was aching When I saw you breathe your last. And in my aching heart I know I have no dear husband now. - Inserted by his loving wife, 40, Myers- street, Torrensville.
WALTON. - In loving memory of our dear father and grandfather, who died on the 14th October. 1930. God saw the road was getting tough. The hill too hard to climb; He gently closed his weary eyes And murmured, "Peace be thine." - Inserted by his loving son. Jack, daughter-in-law, Nellie, Yvonne, Colleen, and Malcolm, Welland.
WALTON. - In loving memory of our dear father and grandfather, who died on the 14th October, 1930. Just a sweet memory of bygone days. And a wish for a face unseen. And a constant feeling that God alone Knows best what might have been. Sleep on, dear father, so kind and true. No father on earth was better than you; For others and us you did your best. May God grant you eternal rest. A tender chord of memory is softly touched today. - Inserted by his loving son, Fred, daughter-in-law. Florrie, Georgie, Ruth, and Connie, Torrensville.
