News (Adelaide) Wednesday 1 August 1928 BANKRUPTCY COURT Officials Sworn In Officials of the State Insolvency Court were, today sworn in as officers of the Federal Bankruptcy Court by Mr. R. J. L. Connard (officer in charge-of the South Australian branch of the Commonwealth Attorney-General's Department) under delegation from the Commonwealth Solicitor-General. Judge Paine, in addition to his duties as judge in equity of Adelaide Local Court; will preside in insolvency or bankruptcy proceedings. Mr. A. S. Howland will be registrar of the Commonwealth Court; Mr. A. V. Richardson. A.F.I.A., official receiver; Mr. H. Meegan, A.F.I.A., accountant; Mr. E. J. Tregenza, investigation officer; Mr. H. S. Burfield, records clerk; and Miss A. K. Marshall, A.F.I.A., official court reporter. Clerks of the court at Port Augusta and Port Pirie, Wallaroo, Gladstone, and Mount Gambier have been appointed deputy-registrars of the Bankruptcy Court. Officers of the court have been busy for several days moving books and other records into the building occupied by the State Industrial Court, which will, upon completion of the alterations to an adjacent building, become the headquarters of the Bankruptcy Court.
Ritchie married Jean Louisa MACKIE [6462] [MRIN: 2199], daughter of James Bryce MACKIE [6467] and Unknown, on 23 Dec 1921 in Flinders St Presbyterian Church, Adelaide. (Jean Louisa MACKIE [6462] died on 8 Jul 1955 in Adelaide, South Australia and was buried in Brighton North Cemetery, South Australia.)
