OBITUARY
Mr. Thomas S. Halfpenny
The death of Thomas Sylvester Halfpenny occurred at the home of friends in Bourke Street, Dubbo, yesterday. The late Mr. Halfpenny was on a visit to Dubbo, when he died suddenly. He was born at Broken Hill, and during
most of his 62 years had resided in the west. He came to Dubbo from 'Rocky Glen' Cobar, just recently. He is survived by his wife, Ada, and four children, Reuben, Thomas, Ruby, and Alfred. The funeral left the church of England today at 2 p.m. for the C. of E. portion of the Dubbo cemetery. The service at the graveside and at the church was conducted by the Rev. Canon Leavers. The funeral arrangements were carried out by N. Larcombe and Son.

Thomas married Ada Margaret TUPPER [8046] [MRIN: 2878] in 1913 in Broken Hill, NSW, Australia. (Ada Margaret TUPPER [8046] was born in 1884 in Glebe, New South Wales, Australia.)
