Bunyip (Gawler) Friday 6 December 1902 EDITOR'S NOTES University Music Examinations.- At the examinations held at the Conservatorium, Adelaide, in conjunction with the Associated Board of the Royal Academy of Music and Royal College of Music, London, the following Gawler students were successful:- Pianoforte Playing - Senior, second class, Marian Cecilia Parkes (private tuition). Theory of Music Junior, first class, Edith Violet Barnet (Miss F. Barnet); second class, Muriel Elizabeth Cheek (Elder Conservatorium). At the practical examination in connection with the Musical International College, London, the following pupils of Miss F. Barnet were successful in passing, gaining a high percentage: - Primary Division - Iris Maude Springbett 86, Vera Clara Broadbent 91, Merva Clara Broadbent 90, Doris Minna Curson 93.
