LATE PRIVATE ROSS STEPHENS.
Private C. R. (Ross) Stephens, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. Stevens, of William street, Rosewater, died from gunshot wounds on October 20. He was educated at the Port Adelaide School, and at the time of his enlistment was a railway porter at Largs Bay. He was a scholar and Officer of the Rosewater Methodist Sunday School, and until he went away was assistant secretary and librarian.
