Torrensville, a family reunion was held today to bid farewell to Mr. and Mrs. Harry Allen, who will sail for London in the Orsova this afternoon. Those present included Mrs. Eric McLean, Mrs. Ewart Broadbent, the Rev. and Mrs. M. Morris and family, Misses K., R., and M. Morris, and D. Allen, Messrs. J.R. Ferguson, J. and L. Morris.

News (Adelaide) Saturday 25 January 1936 Bride's Brother To Officiate: TONIGHT Miss Jocelyn Morris daughter of Mrs. and the late Mr. W.J. Morris, of Hayward avenue, Torrensville, will marry Mr. Ewart Broadbent, only son of Mr. and Mrs. J.L. Broadbent, of Lockleys, at Pirie Street Methodist Church. The Rev. M.C. Morris, the bride's brother, will officiate at the ceremony. White matalasse has been chosen for the bridal gown, which is cut with a cowl neck, the skirt on the cross forming a train. The veil is of Honiton lace and a sheaf of miniature gladioli will be carried. The bride's brother in-law, Mr. Harry Allen, will give her away. There will be a matron of honor, the bride's sister, Mrs. Harry Allen, and two bridesmaids, Miss Rotha Morris, another sister of the bride, and Miss Merle Hancock, niece of the bride groom. They will be frocked alike in gold matalasse, cut with cowl necks and shirring on the shoulders. They will wear black hats and shoes, and will carry sheaves of miniature gladioli in autumn tones. Brothers of the bride, Messrs. Jim and Lloyd Morris, will be best man and groomsman respectively. The reception will be held at the Wentworth, where relatives of the bride and bridegroom will be entertained. At the church Miss Win Hill will sing "My Prayer" accompanied by Mr. Harold Parsons at the organ. Pink floral georgette is the choice of the bride's mother, with a bouquet of pink carnations to tone and blue delphiniums. A black ensemble will be worn by the bridegroom's mother and her flowers will be of autumn shades. For her going-away frock the bride has chosen an ensemble of ice-blue crepe with navy accessories.
