The sixteen guests brought, forks, cutters, gloves, aprons, bird baths and other useful things for their new home on Cross roads.

Three Maids In Ice Blue Satin At St. Augustine's Church, Unley, on Saturday night, the wedding was celebrated of Miss Vera Keene, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Keene, of Wayville, with Mr. Geoffrey Vincent, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Vincent, of Brighton. The Rev. F. Weston officiated. The bride, who was given away by her father, was in an attractive gown of ivory silver embossed lame with a heart-shaped neckline, crossover bodice, and short niched sleeves. Her tulle veil was arranged on the hair with orange blossom and she carried Christmas lilies. The three bridesmaids. Misses Mary McGilp, Joan Weber and Jean Francis, wore ice blue supper satin with un pressed pleats at the back of the skirt giving a bustle effect and small hats of ice blue georgette with fluted brims and trimming of matching velvet. They carried bouquets of scarlet flowers. Mr. Trevis Treliving was best man. After the ceremony a reception was held at the Wentworth. Mrs. Keene received the guests in a black georgette gown embroidered on the bodice with pastel beads, an orchid spray was pinned on the shoulders of a matching jacket. Her small black hat was ornamented with touches of pink. Mrs. Vincent's turquoise metal threaded frock was worn with an autumn shaded posy and a toque of the same shade. A duck egg blue sheer wooollen ensemble with touches of white at the neckline of the frock and sleeves, and a blue straw hat was chosen by the bride for a going away toilette.
