THE FARMERS WHEAT.
From WALTER FOLLAND:- The farmer's wheat will never be handled properly until he handles it himself. I hope the new Wheat Board, of which Sir Bichard Butler has charge, will take in hand the matter of handling by contract. The farmers can then club together and deal with their wheat themselves at the main stations, and even at the terminal ports. The wheat would then be well looked after.

HONEY FLOW
Mr. Walter Folland, the well-known apiarist of Katanning, states that the flow of honey in his area is the worst experienced in 15 years. He is not alone in his trouble, however, for it is reported that beekeepers generally in Western Australia are experiencing one of the worst nectar flows for many years. In most of the forest areas a big proportion of the native flora either missed flowering altogether or the blossoming proved very light. Some apiarists are giving their bees a rest in selected areas.

UTILITY OVERTURNS
When the shackle pin fell out, causing the chassis to drop and the righthand front mud guard to jam the wheel, a utility driven by Mr Walter Folland left the road, struck a tree and overturned. The accident occurred on the Kelly Road about 10.15 a.m. on Monday, some 13 miles from town. Mr Folland was later admitted to the Katanning District Hospital and treated for lacerations to the face and head, fractured nose and fractured right ankle. His passenger, Mr J. Kenny received-slight abrasions. The utility was extensively damaged.
