Chronicle Thursday 29 October 1931 MR. A. GOULTER Mr. Allen Goulter, who died recently at the Crystal Brook District Hospital after 15 months' illness, was born at Riverton in 1867, and went to Crystal Brook with his parents at the age of seven. He was the twin son of the late Mr. and Mrs. E. Goulter. In 1889 he married Miss Marion Greig, eldest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Greig, of Crystal Brook. For many years he served in the 9th Light Horse, and also was a keen rifle shot, being a member of the Crystal Brook club. He was steward in the stock section of the North-Western Agricultural Society for many years. He was an exhibitor in horses-in-action and trotting events at all country shows, and won many prizes and trophies. Crystal Brook has held 58 shows, of which Mr. Goulter attended 57. He leaves a widow, two sons, six daughters, and eight grandchildren. They are: - Messrs. J. E. and B. Goulter, Crystal Brook; Mesdames W. Johns, C. M. Strudwick, Crystal Brook; W. Beeken, Port Pirie; A. Whelan, Solomontown; Misses Elsie and Phyllis Goulter, Crystal Brook.
