Rosemary Filsell nee Anderson writes as at 2012:
This may not be the Jane Neish (daughter of Mary & Joseph Neish) who married George Habeck, but a Jane Neish of another Family.
The above Habbock family were living next to Agnes (nee Strachan) and David Luke at the village of Kintillo, near Dunbarney.
Also, Mary Strachan, (married to Joseph Neish?) Jane Neish and Elisabeth Stephen were recorded in the same section of the Census.
Presuming this to be our family but no proof as yet.
There is a Jean Neish married 21.2.1833 and 2.3.1833 at Dundee, Angas to James Liddell.
There is a reference to a Mrs Liddle ? in Leith, Edinburgh in old letters (spelling varies).
