WEDDINGS
WOODS-JACOBS.
At the Peterborough Baptist Church the marriage was celebrated of Albert E., second son of Mr. and Mrs. E. Woods, of Peterborough, to Thora A, third daughter of Mr. and Mrs H. Jacobs, of "PineGrove," Ucolt. The bride, who was preceded up the aisle by Dawn Jacobs (flowergirl), was gowned In Ivory satin, the skirt being flared to the ankles. Her veil was worn with a lace cap and orange blossom, and was held by Jackie Jacobs (page boy). She carried a bouquet of Christmas lilies. The bridesmaids (Misses P. and V. Woods) were tracked in blue and pink georgette respectively, and had hats and bouquets to tone. The flower girl wore a frock of lavender lace. Mr. E. Jacobs was best man, and Mr. O Jacobs groomsmen. Mrs. Jacobs (bride's mother) wore black crepe de chine with touches of red and fawn, and Mrs. Woods (bridegroom's mother) was frocked in black and fawn marocain. The bride's travelling frock was of bottle green marocain. The honeymoon is being spent at Port Lincoln.
