Ancestors of Don Anderson

Donald George Anderson ( 1899 - 1976 )
Donald was from the first Anderson generation born in Australia. His education was interrupted by his father's early death and he was obliged to join the work-force to help support his family. This was in 1914, the start of WW1. Don married first in 1923 and had a son but lost his wife soon after in sad circumstances. Some years later he met Marjorie Hughes and they married in 1938 and had three children one of whom is the genealogist/webmaster of this site and proud to be his daughter.
