WEDDINGS.
TUCKER-FORREST The wedding was celebrated on Saturday evening, April 16th, in the Methodist Church at Finniss, of Doris Tamsin, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. G.H. Tucker and Keith Dow, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. Forrest, of Sandergrove. The church was very daintily decorated with white perrenial asters and pink cosmos were hung from one end of church to the other. The Rev. R.H. Lee officiated. The bride, who entered the church on her father's arm, wore a frock of white satin moracain. The bodice was plain with long tight sleeves and the skirt flared from a hip yoke. A large bustle bow and a brilliant buckle were the only trimmings. Her veil was arranged from a coronet of orange blossom, and formed the train. She carried a sheaf of pink and white blossom. Little Enid Cricket (Port Lincoln) niece of the bridegroom, preceded the bridal party. She looked very sweet in a blue satin 'Kate Greenaway' frock. She carried a basket of flowers and had a large blue bow on her fair hair. Miss Rita Tucker attended as bridesmaid and wore a lovely frock of orchid pink satin moracain, the bodice was plain and the full flared skirt was shirred at the waistline, a coatee of the same material, with flared cuffs of georgette in the same shade, was also worn. The hat was of summer felt, edged with crinoline with a large satin bow and a wreath of blue and pink flowers under the brim. A posy of pink and white and pink shoes completed a charming toilette. Mr. Moores attended as groomsman, Mrs. J.H. Tucker presided at the organ. During the signing of of the register Mrs. D. Whittam, accompanied by Miss Margaret Reece (Adelaide), sang 'Thanks be to God.' After the ceremony guests proceeded to the hall for the reception, where they were received by Mr. and Mrs. L.G.H. Tucker and the bridal party. Decorations in the hall were the same as at the church. Bowls of asters and single pink chrysanthenums were arranged on the stage, and flowers on the tables were asters and pink cosmos and phlox. Asparagus fern and pink and blue streamers were hung round the hall. The Rev. R.H. Lee proposed the health of the bride and bridegroom, to which Mr. Keith Forrest replied. The toast of the bridesmaid was in the hands of Mr. H. Dunn, to which Mr. Moores replied, and read congratulatory telegrams. Mr. H. Dunstone, seconded by Mr. S. Collett, proposed the parents of the bride and bridegroom, and both Messrs. Tucker and Forrest replied. All the toasts were drank with musical honors. Mr. and Mrs. K. Forrest left by car during the evening, the latter travelling in a green and white flecked ensemble. Her hat was of black felt with a green and white feather mount. She also wore a smart black coat, trimmed with fur. After the bridal couple had left the guests danced until after 11 o'clock, music being supplied by Mrs. Parnell, Misses Margaret Reece, Gene Dunstone and Mr. L. Tucker.
