REYNOLDS.-On the 24th September, at his late residence, Happy Valley, James, dearly beloved husband of Eliza Jane Reynolds, and loving father of Ivy, Hedley, Vern, and Vera aged 74 years.

Funeral Notice:
REYNOLDS. -THE FRIENDS of the late Mr. JAMES REYNOLDS are respectfully informed that his Funeral will leave his late residence, Happy Valley, on MONDAY, at 4 p.m., for the Happy Valley Cemetery. P. SPENCER, Undertaker, Darlington.

Obituary:
MR. J. REYNOiLDS
Mr. James Reynolds whose death occurred at Happy Valley recently, was born at Stockport on April 9, 1859. He went to Happy Valley in 1885, and there carried on a blacksmithing business until the time of his death. On December 24, 1886, he was married to Miss Eliza Jane Buckley, of Charleston. For many years he was a member of the Congregational Church choir, also the Oddfellows' Lodge, chairman of the O'Halloran Hill Public Hall committee, and treasurer of the library. He took a keen interest in sport, being president of the local cricket club since its foundation. His widow survives, also two sons and two daughters- Mrs. W. S. Sampson (Calomba), Mr. H. A. Reynolds (Reynella), and Mr. V. L. Reynolds (Parkside), and Miss V. M. Reynolds (Happy Valley). Mr. G. M. Reynolds, who died four years ago, was another son. There are seven grandchildren.

James married Eliza Jane BUCKLEY [14118] [MRIN: 5214], daughter of Robert BUCKLEY [12294] and Anna Elisabeth Rosina SCHMIDT [12296], on 24 Dec 1887 in Primitive Methodist Church, Charleston, South Australia. (Eliza Jane BUCKLEY [14118] was born on 3 Jul 1864 in Nr Charleston, Nairne, South Australia, died on 6 Sep 1940 in Happy Valley, South Australia and was buried in Happy Valley Cemetery, South Australia.)
