SOLDIER SONS AS PALLBEARERS
Four sons, all returned soldiers, acted as pallbearers at the funeral in Dudley Park Cemetery this afternoon of Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Partridge, of Alexandra street, Prospect, who died yesterday, aged 74. The pallbearers were Capt. J.L. Partridge. Inspector W.B. Partridge, and Pte. G. Partridge, all returned from the last war, and Pte. W. Partridge, returned from Syria in this war. The youngest son, Cpl. R. Partridge, is serving in the A.I.F., and two other sons were rejected. Mrs. Partridge has left a widower, aged 86. She had been married for 55 years.

Obituary:
Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Partridge (74) died at Alexander street, Prospect. She was the second daughter of the late Mr. and, Mrs. John Hillman. She accompanied her parents to Booleroo Whim when a young girl, and was married there in 1887 to Mr.G. B. Partridge, who survives her. There are 11 children.
