DEATH OF AN OLD COLONIST.
NEW PLYMOUTH, March 7. An old identity, Mrs P. C. George, is dead. The deceased lady, who was 91 years of age, came here 55 years ago. Her only living child is Mrs Cannell, wife of the Rev. W. Cannell.

Betsy GEORGE, much loved "Granny George" to all who knew her, died in New Plymouth on 7 March 1919 aged 96, her husband having pre-deceased her on 4 August 1891.)
