NELSON \emdash Killed in action in France, November 1916, Private Leslie George Nelson, beloved son of George Nelson, Port Wakefield, aged 23 years. Somewhere in France They laid our noble sen to rest; A Iwother and a soldier brave, Now sleeps in a newly made grave. No one he loved was by his side, To hear his lost faint sigh, Or whisper just, a loving word, Or even say good-by. Inserted by his loving father, brother, and sisters.

NELSON. Private Leslie George Nelson, who was killed in action in France on 5th November, 1916, was in the first Australian Company that landed in France. His King and country called him, The call was not in vain; In "Britain's roll of honor You will find dear Leslie's name. His fresh young life could not be saved; He now sleeps in a lonely soldier's grave. Deeply regretted by all who knew him. Inserted by his loving brother, Fred, Port Wakefield.
