Obituary.
The friends of Mr. E. J. Kennedy, of Narracoorte, will regret to learn of the death of his mother, which took place at Mount Barker on Sunday. The late Mrs. Catherine Kennedy was the widow of the late Mr. Michael Kennedy, one of the pioneer residents of the Millicent district. She went to reside at Mount Barker on the death of her husband 23 years ago. She was 85 years of age, and leaves a family of one daughter and seven sons living, and there are two sons deceased. Her remains will be conveyed to Millicent for interment there this (Tuesday) afternoon.

Kate married Michael KENNEDY [17397] [MRIN: 6412], son of John KENNEDY [17413] and Bridget MOORE [19072], on 16 Nov 1869 in St Thomas Church, Kanmantoo, South Australia. (Michael KENNEDY [17397] was born on 4 May 1839 in Kilkenny, Ireland and died on 18 May 1912 in Millicent, South Australia.)
