THREADGOLD.-On the 1st June, at the residence of his son-in-law (Mr. W. Bailey), 238 King William street south, Charles Threadgold, late of Kangarilla and Sturt, aged 78 years, leaving 8 sons and 1 daughter, 32 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren to mourn their loss. Rest after painful illness.

THE Friends of the late Mr. CHARLES THREADGOLD are respectfully informed that his REMAIMS will be Removed from the Residence of his Son-in-law (Mr. W. Kangarilla, June 4. An old identity, Mr. Charles Threadgold, died on Tuesday at the residence ot his son-in law, Mr. W. Bailey. The deceased arrived in the State over 50 years ago, and came to live at Kangarilla, where he carried on business as a bootmaker. After a number of years he went to reside at Marion, where he began brickmaking on a large scale. He previously learnt bis trade in England. Later he returned to Kangarilla, where, until about two months ago he had resided. He left 8 sons 1 daughter and 32 grandchildren.
Charles married Ann ALTHORPE [15747] [MRIN: 729], daughter of William ALTHORP(E) [15750] and Sarah WATSON [15751], on 15 Jun 1851 in Kettering, NTH, England. (Ann ALTHORPE [15747] was born on 1 Sep 1831 in Northampton, NTH, England and died on 4 Mar 1890 in Marion, Adelaide, South Australia.)
