The Advertiser Saturday 16 Sep 1905 ALLEGED INDECENT ASSAULT. Mount Gambier, September 14 At the Mount Gambier Police Court today, before Mr. G. Glen, SM., Robert Charles Edmondson was charged with having indecently assaulted Gertrude Irene Poulton, a girl, under the age of 16 years. On the application of the defendant the hearing was adjourned until September 19. Bail was fixed at two sureties of £10 each, and accused in one surety of £20.
The Advertiser Wednesday 20 Sep 1905 MOUNT GAMBIER September l8 - September 19 At the Police Court today Robert Charles Edmondson was charged, on remand, with having indecently assaulted Gertrude Irene Poulton, who Was under the age of 16 years, at Glencoe. Mr. Spehr appeared for the prosecution, and, Mr. Ward for the accused. After a Long hearing the magistrate dismissed the case stating that he thought the peculiar preciseness of some of the evidence rendered its value doubtful. He did not think any jury would convict the accused.
The Advertiser Saturday 6 Jan 1932 Grog Selling Alleged: Mrs. Gertrude Anderson, of Parkside, was charged before Mr. E. M. Sabine, PM, in the Adelaide Police Court yesterday, with having, being an unlicensed person sold liquor in premises at Stamford street, Parkside, on January 9. The hearing was adjourned until February 17. Mr. R. A. Lenthall prosecuted, and Mr. C. Townsend Gun appeared for Mrs. Anderson.
The Advertiser Monday 4 Jan 1933 Supplied Liquor Without Licence: In the Adelaide Police Court on Saturday, Mr. E.M. Sabine. P.M., delivered reserved judgment in the case in which Gertrude Anderson, of Parkside, was charged with, unlawfully having supplied liquor at Parkside on January 9, while being an unlicensed person. A conviction was recorded, and a fine of £5, with £1 5/ costs imposed. Mr. L.T. Gun appeared for the defendant.
