Chronicle Saturday 18 January 1908 Birth Notice: MOYSE.- On the 5th January, at Queen-street, Gawler South, to Mr. and Mrs. W. A. R. Moyse, a daughter. Both doing well.
The Advertiser Saturday 22 Dec 1917 FREELING, December l8. A successful concert in aid of the "Children's Patriotic Fund" was held in the institute on Saturday by 12 little school girls. The organiser, Dorothea Koch, aged 10 years, chose the concerted items, choruses, and dialogues, and conducted the rehearsals. The accompanists, two of whom were nine years old, acquitted themselves remarkably well. Those taking part were Dorothea Koch, Marjorie Heinrich, Madge Heinrich, Thora Mattiske, Gwen Moyse, Gladys Moyse, Gladys Thamm, Eileen McGeorge, Audrey Nenke, Magde Heindenrich, Lulu and Dora Schluter, all under l3 years of age. The net proceeds were £10 15/, and there were no expenses. The children of the Freeling school, with under 140 on the roll, have forwarded £8 10/ to the Children's Patriotic Fund. Three stars and 75 war service medals and bars have been won by the scholars. In addition, £4 17/6 has been sent to Minda, £4.13/ to the Children's Hospital, and £20 10/ for the queen of children on Freeling Australia Day. Eggs to the 5 value of £1 5/ have been sent to various hospitals, making grand total of £115 15/ for the year.
