The bridesmaids, Misses Joyce Stanbury and Joy Hill, wore frocks of pale pink spotted net over rose satin. The, shirred bodices had short puff sleeves and the skirts were very full They wore picture hats made from the same material as the frocks and trimmed with trails of tiny roses, and carried sheaves of pink and white flowers. Mr. Laurie Moyse (brother of the bridegroom) was best man, and Mr. Keith Jackson (brother of the bride) groomsman. A reception was held at the Argosy Palais Seacliff, at which more than 100 guests were entertained.
