Another year has slipped away, but to-night we have no record of great or startling events in School life to mark 1923.
Steady plodding work has been done in the classrooms, and our sports results show that play has been entered into with enthusiasm. Owing to the change in University examinations, we sent up no candidates for the Leaving Examination (formerly Senior), now a two years' course, except a few
candidates of the previous year to complete their certificates. . . . .

Red and White Decorations
METHODIST Ladies' College old scholars have decorated the Embassy with flowers and balloons in their school colors-red ,and white-for their annual ball tonight.
Dr. C. W. Atkinson (principal), Mrs. and Miss Atkinson, Miss Jean Harris (vice-principal), and Mr. and Mrs. Ross Anderson will be the guests of the cornmittee, which consists of Misses Pat Burnard, L. Woods, Margaret Clarkson, J. Davidson. A. Haste, G. Davidson, fl. McDonald, D. Wheeler, M. Butler, Roxy Sims, T. Flinn, M. Lawton, M. Tonkii, J. Oakes, and Mavis Wickes (secretary).

Cream Cloque Bridal Gown
A CREAM cloque gown will be worn by Miss Bessie McNeil at her marriage tonight at St. Peter's Church, Glenelg, to Mr. Harvey Windscheid. The bride is the younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. McNeil, of Brighton road, Glenelg, and the bridegroom is the only son of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. Windschcid, of Barmera. The Rev. H. R. Cavalier will be the officiating clergyman, and the bride will be given away by her father. Her dress is slim fitting and has a long train. She will wear an embroidered veil and carry a sheaf of gladioli. Misses Doris Windscheid and Jean McNeil will be bridesmaids, dressed alike in blue cloque with long trains. Their blue picture hats are trimmed with pink and blue flowers, and they will carry sheaves of pink gladioli. Mr. Marshall Wheeler will be best man and Mr. William Odgers will be groomsman. After the ceremony there will be a family gathering at the home of the bride's parents. The travelling dress of the bride is of navy floral fabric, with which she will wear a three-quarter length navy coat and a navy hat.
