Town Jottings
AT St. Peter's College Chapel this afternoon, Doris, only daughter of Mrs. Myrtle R. White, of Aldgate, and the late Mr. Con. White, was married to James Chambers, son of Mrs. M. A. Sinden, of Victor Harbor, and the late Mr. J. Chambers. THE bride's mother is the author of the well-known novel 'No Roads Go By.' and Mrs. Chambers is herself an accomplished bush woman who can drove cattle and muster sheep as well as any man on a station. Her future home will be Mutooroo Station, near Broken Hill. A gown of cream lace with a cream tulle veil fastened with fresh flowers was chosen for the wedding dress. Miss Marjorie Jones was the only bridesmaid, and Mr. Rex Rad ford, cousin of the bridegroom, was best man.
