WEDDING.
THE marriage of Phyllis Egerton (Peggy), only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Maitland Webb, of Chamingup, Kojonup, and Mr. Phillip Ladyman, son of Mrs. J. Ladyman, of Woodlands, Katanning, took place at St. Mary's Church, Kojonup, on April 20. The Rev. Father Phelam-Thorman officiated at the ceremony. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a graceful frock of cream satin and her veil of appliqued net, which had been made and worn by her mother, was held in place by a coronet of orange blossom. She carried a bouquet of roses, carnations and maidenhair fern. The bridesmaid, Miss Dulce Van Zuilicom, wore a frock of eau de nil figured satin and carried a bouquet of roses. Mr. Geoffrey Webb (brother of the bride) was bestman. After the ceremony the guests were entertained at Chamingup, where the usual toasts were honoured. Mrs. Webb (mother of the bride) wore a charming frock of floral georgette, while Mrs. Ladyman (mother of the bridegroom) chose a handsome dress of black crepe de chine with a black velvet coatee. Later In the evening, the bride and groom left for their honeymoon, the bride travelling in a costume of Marina green with a becoming hat of plum-coloured felt and matching accessories.
