Death Notice:
Lynch. -At Riverton, on August 3rd. 1907 Sarah, beloved wife of Thomas Lynch; aged 67 years. The funeral will leave the Hospital, on Wednesday, 7th inst., at 2 p.m. for the Riverton Cemetery. Friends please accept this (the only) intimation.

OBITUARY
There passed away at the Riverton Hospital on Saturday evening, where she had been removed that day, Mrs Lynch, wife of Mr T. Lynch, of this town aged 67 years. Deceased, who was a native of Liverpool, came out to New Zealand with her brother Henry, who was a chief steward and purser on the Lady Jocelyn, to Lyttelton, in 1872, from when she came on to join her brother George at the Nokomai, he being engaged on the diggings. Twelve months later she married Robert Davis, who unfortunately met with a fatal accident while working on the railway at Lumsden. After the death of her first husband, she came to Riverton to housekeep for her brother George, when she married her present husband, the happy union lasting 28 years. Mrs Lynch was an exceedingly amiable woman, and beloved by all with whom she came in contact. For the past four years she has been practrically an invalid, and Mr lynch wishes to express his thanks to the ladies who so kindly visited the deceased during her illness, and did so much to aleviate the pain of body and mind. The funeral will leave the Hospital on Wednesday at 2 p.m. for the Riverton cemetery.

(Thomas LYNCH [10679] was born circa 1833 in County Kerry, Ireland, died on 5 Nov 1918 in Riverton, New Zealand and was buried on 7 Nov 1918 in Riverton Cemetery.)
