News Tuesday 10 December 1935 Thebarton Technical Results During the year 451 boys, including 45 who did work beyond the second year standard, attended the Thebarton Junior Technical School, says the head master (Mr. A. G. Paull) in his annual report to be presented at the annual speech night to be held in the Thebarton Town Hall tonight. In addition to receiving class lessons in all subjects, the boys spent part of their time at free work. It is believed that the students developed self-reliance and initiative from the latter. At the Royal Show 31 money prizes were awarded to boys at the school. Twenty-eight exhibits were com mended. Fifty-nine of the 76 models entered thus received recognition. Prizes and certificates to be presented by the Director of Education (Mr. Adey) are: Intermediate Technical Certificates: Sidney Gordon McLean, 7 passes. Including 2 credits; Allan Leslie Watson. 6 and 1. Kenneth Hurtle James Richardson, recommended by Board of Studies. 4 and 1.
