Border Watch (Mt Gambier) Saturday 16 September 1944 R.A.A.F. Fellowship at Glencoe Glencoe East, September 13. On Sunday night over 30 members of the R.A.A.F, Fellowship visited the Glencoe; Methodist Church and conducted the service. The leader was Flt/Sgt. Ray Meade, and the speaker was L.A.C. Malcolm Rowen, who took for his subject The Three Crosses." A duet was rendered by Flt/Sgt. Ruth Strange and Miss Beth Pocock. Testimony was given by Flt/Sgt. Louis Clayton. L.A.C. Geoff Creed was organist. After the service all adjourned to the Sunday School Hall where all enjoyed an hour's singing led by L.A.C. Harry Stevens and Flt/Sgt. Ray Meade. The pianists were Miss Beth Pocock and Miss Connie Case. The ladies then served a coffee supper, which brought a pleasant evening to a close.
