MEIER, George Elijah (JP). Passed away peacefully on Monday, July 25, 2011. Aged 99 1/2 years. Dearly devoted husband of Doris for 66 years. Much loved father and father-in-law of Jillian and Roger (deceased) John and Jan. Adored Papa of Tiffany and Justin. You never failed to do your best. Your heart was true and tender. MEIER, George Elijah (JP). The Immanuel College community remembers with respect and gratitude the life of Old Scholar George Meier who died in his 100th year. George attended Immanuel in 1925-26 and maintained a love and long association with his Alma Mater. The staff, student, parents and friends of Immanuel College extend their sincere condolences to Doris and the Meier family. "Believe in God and believe also in me. There are many rooms in my Father's house, and I am going to prepare a place for you". John 14:1,2.
