CHOAT (nee Ruth Milne).-On the 2nd September, at the Memorial Hospital, Mount Barker to Mr. and Mrs. Maxwell Choat-a son (Ronald Maxwell). Both well.

SUMMERTOWN Sitting At Stirling West Before Mr. G. H. Walter, S.M. Driving Charge Fails a charge against a hills' bus driver alleging that he had driven a bus on Greenhill road, near Summertown, on June 6, while so much under me influence of intoxicating liquor as to be incapable of exercising effective control, was dismissed yesterday. He is Ronald Maxwell Choat, 24, of Stirling East, who denied the offence. Choat pleaded guilty to having driven the bus on the same occasion without due care and was fined £5 with £1 8/6 costs. Mr. J. Marshall, of the Crown Law Department, who prosecuted, said that the bus had struck the rear of a stationary motor car. Mr. R. P. Newman, with Mr. D. H. Newman, for Choat.
